The 12th Annual Webby Awards Early Nomination Deadline Nears

The Webby Awards are currently accepting nominations for this year's awards. With over 100 categories in each of the four entry types - website, advertising, film/video, and Mobile Web categories, this year's awards will surely recognize the brightest stars in the industry. The Webby Awards presents two honors in every category - The Webby Award and the People's Voice Award. Winners are choosen by the members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and by those of you who vote. The Webby Awards are one of the biggest, international award programs today.

Eureka for Mobile Awards announces finalists

The seven finalists for this year's Eureka for Mobile Awards have been announced. The finalists work will be showcased at the World Telemedia Prague Conference in November. The Eureka Awards celebrate the "wild and wacky - but fantastically useful - mobile services that have been launched in the past 12 months." The winners are chosen by the people. International Automotive Advertising Awards Call For Entries

The IAAA recognizes automotive and automotive related advertising and marketing worldwide. They are looking for excellence in automotive advertising and marketing in tv, radio, print, catelogues, bill boards, web promotions, and more. Newly published and entries aired between Oct. 17th and Dec. 31st, 2007 are eligible. 2006 entries will not be accepted.

Silver Quill Awards Competition announces 3rd annual call for entries

The Heritage Region's Silver Quill Awards recognizes outstanding work in business communications, including tactics, strategies and communication professionals. There are three divisions in the competition: communication management, skill, and creative. Awards will be presented at the 2008 IABC Heritage Regional Conference and by local chapters.

ADFEST - Reinvent - 2008

The Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (ADFEST) will hold it's 11th annual gathering at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya, Thailand. This event honors tv creatives produced in Asia Pacific that are making a splash in today's competitive market. The theme for this year's awards is "Re-invention is key if agencies are to survive." The festival is part of the Intercontinental Advertising Cup. The Cup for short. The festival also offers creative seminars in advertising, marketing and production. It is a place to show of your work and to learn a few tricks of the trade as well.
